STOP PRESS - ACADEMY NEWS
An important note to keep parents and other stakeholder informed:
The school received a letter, on Friday 16th July, from Michael Gove, Education Secretary. This letter agreed in principle to Healing School becoming an Academy from 01/09/2010, subject to current legislation going through parliament.
The School will now spend the summer holiday period undertaking all the necessary legal, financial and contractual matters to effect this change.
Please note: There is NO change to our uniform for September and a further update will follow for all parents in a special edition of Hotline, in September.
In the meantime, please do not hesitate to contact the school (staff are available throughout the pupil holiday period) if you have any concerns.
