School Life
This week, Life talks to pupils of Healing School, A Specialist Science and Foundation College - Abi Heywood, 12, Joanne Prior, 12, Stefania Olafsdottir, 13, James Allbones, 12 and Josh Barwood, 12.
What is your favourite thing about school?
Abi: It is a welcoming environment and everyone is friendly.
Joanne: There are lots of facilities and teachers and pupils are great.
Stefania: I love meeting my friends.
James: The extra curricula activities are brilliant, I enjoy playing basketball and going to drama club after school.
Josh: I also like the drama club and after school activities.
What is your favourite subject?
Abi: I love drama and music.
Joanne: Design and Technology are my favourites.
Stefania: I enjoy art and it's something I'm good at. I also like textiles lessons.
James: I love drama lessons at school.
Josh: Science, Drama and History.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
Abi: I want to be a PE teacher and the sports we do at Healing are great and help me learn more about the subject.
Joanne: An interior designer, as I love design technology.
Stefania: Either a fashion designer or an artist.
James: I want to become an actor one day.
Josh: I love sport, especially ice hockey, but I don't really know what I want to do when I grow up. There are so many options!
