Congratulations
Congratulations to Sam Dobson and Jordan Cressey who are two of only ten athletes who have been selected to represent N E Lincs in the next round of the Playground to Podium events which they have been attending over the last few months.
Some people may have seen Sam and Jordan on the television when they were interviewed by Look North when they were at their last event.
They will now go over to the County Athlete Assessment Development Centre at Costello Stadium in Hull where they will take part in 5 sports – athletics, boccia, wheelchair basketball, football & table tennis. This event is held to support the development of talented disabled athletes and provide young people with the opportunity to progress in those sports. Also, on the day, there will be an inspirational speaker who will talk about their experiences of competing in their sport and representing their country.
Sam and Jordan have been selected not only on their ability but also on their positive & determined attitudes.
We wish them all the best when they go to Hull.
