STREETDANCE CHAMPIONS
A group of Year 9 and 10 girls competed in the ‘Strictly High School’ streetdance competition on Wednesday 13th May at Hereford Technology School. The girls choreographed their own routine and spent many hours teaching the rest of their group and rehearsing their routine. The dancers put on an amazing performance which really impressed the judges so much so they were awarded a trophy for ‘Most Energetic Performance’.
Congratulations to the whole squad : Molly Coates, Megan Tutty, Lauren Hebdon, Laura Bakasa, Laura Irvine, Laura Ramsey, Abigail Connell, Shonna Cummings, Keely Collin, Holly Plummley, Katie Money, Claire Bentham and Jessica Billingham.
Two year 7 pupils Evie Coates and Ellie James also took part in the competition and were the smallest team competing. They produced a very entertaining dance based on ‘Thriller’ again with most parts created by the dancers themselves.
Well done to everyone who took part.
