U12 Girls Football Team Represent Grimsby and District in the ESFA U12 5-A-Side Cup
On Saturiday 2nd February the Year 7 Girls Football Team travelled down to the JJB Scoccer Dome in Derby to play in the English Schools Football Association 5-A-Side Cup. The squad consisted of Penny McNally, Lauren Scott, Annabel Rimmer, Ellie O'Conner, Lucy Lrvine, Jessie Hartley and Beth Laws. The girls played well against some very skilful players, with the following results:
V Littleover School, Derby Lost 3-1
V Archbishop Thurstan School, Kingston Upon Hull Lost 2-1
V Wollaston School, Wellinborough & Rushden Won 3-0
V William Farr School, Lincoln Draw 1-1
V Redhill School, South Notts Lost 1-0
V Wreake Vally Community School, North Leicestershire Won 1-0
The Girls finished 4th in their group but thoroghly enjoyed the day and the experience of playing on such a superb surface.
